Head of Operations
Aanchal is an operations consultant with nearly a decade-long legal background. She is an advocate qualified in India and presently based in Mauritius, most recently having worked in corporate law at Dentons Mauritius LLP. In her role, she was responsible for assisting international clients set up various global businesses and funds, conducting due diligence and preparing reports for corporate transactions.
Before working in the investment space, Aanchal also practiced in Mumbai in the areas of real estate and dispute resolution. Her legal work consisted of, among others, drafting commercial contracts and conveyancing documentation and handling commercial and real estate litigation. Aanchal’s diverse experience in law has helped her foster a solutions-driven approach which she currently leverages to implement frameworks and processes for improved and efficient business operations. Having worked in India and Africa, she recognises the evident lack of opportunities that women face in both jurisdictions. She has developed a keen interest in the venture capital space, specifically in reducing the gender gap in funding on the African continent.
